We’ve visited more than 20 kid-friendly places in Bangkok, and based on our experience, these are the places we’d choose for a toddler.
What really matters to us
1. Separated play areas by age
We look for places where play zones for different age groups are clearly separated, so older children don’t accidentally bump into or knock over our little one.
We want to enjoy spending time playing together with our child, not constantly monitoring their safety.
2. A pleasant space — not just for kids
For us, kid-friendly places are not only about children, but about adults too.
Our toddler, to be honest, is happy almost anywhere — he’ll play even with sticks.
But for us, it’s important that the space is:
- calm
- well-designed
- pleasant to spend time in
When a place feels good, everyone enjoys the experience, and we leave with warm, positive memories.
3. Good food is a big plus
Visiting regular restaurants and cafés with a toddler isn’t easy.
And we’re food lovers — good food truly matters to us.
When a kid-friendly place offers:
- good-quality food
- a proper menu for adults
- and a play area
—it’s a huge plus.
While waiting for the food, you can calmly play in the play area instead of chasing your child around a restaurant.
